Malki Kawa is Belcher’s manager and he has been teasing on Twitter for the past two weeks that he is working on a big fight for his fighter.

Belcher (18-6) is currently on a four fight winning streak and has won a fight night bonus in four of his last six fights. His most recent victory came at UFC on FOX 3 against Rousimar Palhares, which he won in the first round by TKO.

Now, Belcher has gone to Twitter to say he wants to fight Vitor Belfort at UFC 153 in Brazil.

Based on other tweets by Belcher and Kawa, it appears that Belfort has not accepted the fight at this time. Kawa wrote a tweet about Belfort and used the hash tag stop ducking.

Belcher is asking his fans to tell UFC President Dana White and UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta that they want to see this fight happen. If this fight were to happen in Brazil at UFC 153, it’s likely that it would be the co-main event on the fight card. The UFC announced last week that the main event would be Jose Aldo defending his UFC featherweight title against Erik Kock.

Should Belfort accept the fight against Belcher or is there another fight that makes more sense for him?
