Jon Jones responds to fan about having no plans tonight

Jon Jones was supposed to defend the UFC light heavyweight title tonight against Dan Henderson, but Henderson suffered an injury and Jones did not accept a fight against Chael Sonnen. With Jones turning down the fight against Sonnen, the UFC decided to cancel the entire fight card.

Jones has become one of the most disliked fighters by the UFC fans and has received hundreds of messages from the fans. He responded to one of the messages today as a fan said he had no plans tonight because of UFC 151 being canceled.

I love how in the begining it was all about Jon winning over the fans and now he really could care less. How can you want to win the fans, say you fight for the money, and say you never turn down a fight then quickly go against all you supposedly stand for? Then again, this is the same guy who said he would never get a DUI to not only get a DUI but also hit a pole which could have easily been a person. So, the guy who went from saying “I’ve always been a person who tries to do the right thing in life, for the most part. I’m no angel, but I was always the kid who snitched on the kids who had pot. I don’t want to offend the pot smokers out there, but I was kind of just a snitch. I was just down for people doing the right thing. My parents kind of raised me to be a good guy. I’ve always been down for the good side, I guess.” turns into the guy who carelessly put others lives in danger while being drunk and recklessly driving his Bentley that costs more than some peoples home into a pole with 2 female companions as passengers and neither was his wife. Sounds like a good Christian to me. From this point on Jon Jones can move to Maine and start fighting on Promotions sponsored by the towns Used Tire Salesman for $16 and a running tab at the concession stand! (Like Tim Sylvia)
