UFC 152 Medical Suspensions: Jones among fighters receiving indefinite suspensions

The medical suspensions for UFC 152 have been released by the Ontario Athletic Commission and every fighter on the card was at least given a minimum of a 14 day suspension for precautionary reasons.

Ten fighters on the card received a longer suspension than 14 days and that included UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

Jones received an indefinite suspension because of his arm and will have to be cleared by a physician before coming off suspension.

Jones was one of five fighters receiving a indefinite suspension and the others were Roger Hollett, Charles Oliveira, Simeon Thoresen and Charlie Brenneman. All of the these fighters will have to be cleared by a physician.

Jon Jones: Indefinitely (arm), but can be cleared by physician
Vitor Belfort: 30 days (eyebrow laceration)
Joseph Benavidez: 30 days (eyebrow laceration)
Roger Hollett: Indefinitely (hand), but can be cleared by physician. Also, 30 days (precautionary reasons)
Charles Oliveira: Indefinitely (multiple ailments), but can be cleared by physician. Also, 60 days (precautionary reasons)
Igor Pokrajac: 30 days (precautionary reasons)
Evan Dunham: 60 days (forehead laceration)
Lance Benoist: 30 days (forehead laceration)
Simeon Thoresen: Indefinitely, but can be cleared by physician
Charlie Brenneman: Indefinitely, but can be cleared by physician. Also, 60 days (precautionary reasons)
