A welterweight bout has been added to UFC 157 on February 23rd in Anaheim as Brock Jardine will face Kenny Robertson.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Friday night and the bout will be placed on the preliminary card of UFC 157, which will come from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Jardine (9-2) was signed by the UFC earlier this year after being on a three fight winning streak and winning nine of his first ten fights.
His UFC debut came at UFC on FX 4 in June and took on UFC veteran Rick Story. He was defeated by unanimous decision and it was his first lost since his 2010 bout against Tony Ferguson.
Robertson (11-2) originally entered the UFC in the beginning of 2011 at UFC 126 and was defeated by Mike Pierce in the second round by TKO. He would take a fight outside the UFC, which he won and returned to the UFC earlier this year against Aaron Simpson. He would be defeated by decision and it was only the second time in his career that he went the distance.
UFC 157 takes place on February 23rd at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California and will be headlined by Ronda Rousey defending the UFC women’s bantamweight title against Liz Carmouche.
