As discussed yesterday here on TheMMAReport.com Darren Rovell’s comments about the UFC did not go unnoticed by the UFC brass. Interestingly enough, UFC President Dana White himself had a very pointed response to Darren Rovell today which can be seen below:

As you can see, the UFC clearly went to work the past couple of days and echoed a great deal of the factual evidence that we discussed at length yesterday.
However, it should be noted that the UFC failed to offer up a couple of key pieces including “actual” PPV buys and UFC on Fox ratings from April. Obviously the UFC is a private company so we couldn’t really expect them to release PPV buys, but the UFC on Fox numbers were the best non-NFL season ratings for the UFC on Fox series so Dana White and the UFC could have easily pointed that to further dig into Rovell.
