Derrick Lewis and Nandor Guelmino were scheduled to face each other at UFC on FS1 #2 on August 28th but an injury has forced Lewis to pull out of the fight.
UFC officials have announced that Guelmino has been moved to the UFC 165 card and he will face Daniel Omielanczuk.
UFC 165 takes place on September 21st from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Alexander Gustafsson.
Guelmino (11-4-1) was on a seven fight win streak before losing to Josh Barnett in his Strikeforce debut at the beginning of the year. During his winning streak, five of the victories came by stoppage with four of the wins coming in the first round.
Omielanczuk (15-3-1, 1NC) will be making his UFC debut in this fight and is currently on a eleven fight winning streak. Eight of his last nine victories have come by submission with six of thos wins coming in the first round.
