UPDATED: The UFC 166 preliminary card on Fox Sports 1 featured Tim Boetsch, Hector Lombard, Jessica Eye and K.J. Noons all leaving the cage with victories.
According to Nielsen sources, the UFC 166 preliminary overnight rating for the preliminary card landed down at 628k total viewers.
The previous preliminary card of UFC 165, which was also on FS1, scored 722k total viewers, meaning from 165 to 166 a 14% drop in viewership occured.
When it came to the competition on Saturday night, the biggest issue for the UFC was once again College Football on ABC (Florida State vs Clemson, 5.871 million viewers) and the Red Sox clinching the American League Pennant on Fox (8.560 million viewers).
