Rematch between Melvin Guillard and Ross Pearson is now official for March 8th in London

Following their no contest at UFC Fight Night 30, lightweights Melvin Guillard and Ross Pearson will have their rematch at the UFC fight card in London on March 8th.

UFC officials announced the fight booking on Sunday evening and the bout could end up being the co-main event of the fight card.

The UFC fight card in London on March 8th will come from the O2 Arena in London and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Alexander Gustafsson meets Jimi Manuwa.

In their first meeting, the bout would last just under two minutes. Guillard landed an illegal knee as Pearson was beginning to get up. The referee declared the knee illegal and Pearson was unable to continue.

The bout was declared a no contest and the UFC announced at the post fight press conference that the two would meet at the UFC event in London on March 8th.
