A welterweight bout has been added to UFC 171 in Dallas on March 15th as Sean Spencer will meet Alex Garcia.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Thursday and the bout will be place on the preliminary card.
UFC 171 takes place on March 15th from the American Airlines Arena in Dallas and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Glover Teixeira.
Spencer (11-2) has won back to back fights in the UFC after losing his debut to Rafael Natal at UFC on FOX 6 in January. Both of his wins in the UFC have come by decision and his most recent victory came at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale as he defeated Drew Dober.
Garcia (11-1) is currently on a five fight winning streak and won his UFC debut last week in Australia as he defeated Ben Wall by knockout. He only needed 43 seconds to defeat Wall, and it was his ninth victory to take place in the first round.
