Bellator 117 Weigh-In Results: Title fight official; Campos makes weight on second attempt

The Bellator 117 Weigh-Ins took today in Council Bluffs, Iowa and the fight card is now official with twelve fights.  B117 WI

Today’s weigh-ins came from the Mid-America Center and the same venue will host tomorrow night’s fight card.

The fight card will be headlined by a vacant welterweight title fight as season eight tournament winner Douglas Lima (169.6 lbs) faces season nine tournament winner Rick Hawn (169.7 lbs).

The televised main card will also feature the semifinals of the lightweight tournament and Derek Campos neeedd an additional two hours to make weight for his tournament bout against Patricky Pitbull (154.7 lbs). Campos initially weighed in at 157.1 pounds and would make weight at 155.9 pounds. The other semifinal bout will be the co-main event of the fight card as Derek Anderson (155.9 lbs) meets submission specialist Marcin Held (155 lbs).
