Bellator 120 preliminary card draws 776k in second hour, with peak of 962k

Bellator 120 took place on Saturday night at the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi and the televised preliminary card was shown on Spike TV before the main card on pay-per-view.

According to Nielsen sources, the preliminary card during the 8 p.m. hour averaged 648,000 viewers and the 9 p.m. hour averaged 776,000 viewers in the preliminary ratings.

The peak of the broadcast came in the last twelve minutes of the show, which was during the heavyweight bout between Cheick Kongo and Eric Smith with that number being 962,000 viewers.

Prior to the preliminary card airing on Spike TV, the cable television networked aired two shoulder programs for the event. The first program aired at 7 p.m. with “Unrivaled: Michael Chandler,” which had 607,000 viewers and “Rampage vs. King Mo: Winner Takes All” at 7:30 p.m. ET scored 511,000 viewers.
