Welterweight final between Andrey Koreshkov and Adam McDonough targeted for Bellator 122

The season ten welterweight tournament final is now set as Andrey Koreshkov will meet Adam McDonough and the fight is targeted to take place at Bellator 122 in July. Andrey Koreshkov

Bellator MMA Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney made the fight announcement during the Bellator 118 Post Fight Press Conference on Friday night.

Koreshkov (16-1) has punched his way into his second tournament final as he has defeated Nah-Shon Burrell and Justin Baesman by knockout in the first round. He has a total cage tim of under four minutes in this tournament and will be looking to become the seventh fighter in Bellator history to win multiple tournaments.

McDonough (11-0) made his Bellator debut last year and defeated Jesse Juarez in the opening round of this tournament by decision. He would return one month later in the semifinals and scored his sixth career win by knockout as he defeated Nathan Coy.

Bellator 122 will be the second show of the 2014 Summer Series and a date and venue for the event has not been announced at this time.
