A women’s bantamweight bout has been added to UFC Fight Night in Atlantic City on July 16th as Ultimate Fighter alum Jessamyn Duke will meet Leslie Smith.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday afternoon.
UFC Fight Night Atlantic City will come from the Ovation Hall inside the Revel Casino on July 16th and will be headlined by Donald Cerrone meeting Jim Miller in a five round lightweight bout.
Duke (3-1, 1NC) was a member of Team Rousey during The Ultimate Fighter 18 and won her official UFC debut against Peggy Morgan at the live finale. Her next fight would take place five months later as he would lose a decision to Bethe Correia.
Smith (6-5-1) made her UFC debut on short notice in April as he lost a decision to Sarah Kaufman. It was her second defeat to Kaufman and she has dropped three of her last four fights after starting her career 5-2-1.
