A lightweight bout has been officially added to the UFC Fight Night 53 fight card on October 4th in Sweden as Mairbek Taisumov will meet UFC newcomer Marcin Bandel.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC this morning.
UFC Fight Night 53 will come from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden on October 4th and the event will air on Fight Pass.
Taisumov (21-5) made his UFC debut at the beginning of the year and defeated Tae Hyun Bang by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 34. He returned in March at UFC Fight Night 38 in Brazil and lost a decision to Michel Prazeres.
Bandel (13-2) is a submission specialist and he is currently on a twelve fight winning streak. All of his wins have come in the first rounf and he is coming off a 58 second submission win in May against Musa Jangubaev at La Familia Fight Night 5.
