The injury and new fight booking was officially announced by the UFC on Thursday.

UFC Fight Night 49 will come from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 23rd and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as former champion Benson Henderson meets Rafael dos Anjos.

Sanchez (6-0) is coming off a TKO win at Tachi Palace Fights 20 against Antonio Banuelos and all of his professional wins have come by TKO/KO or submission. Two of his last three wins have come in the first round and he has only been to the third round one.

Reis (17-5) made his UFC debut last year and defeated Ivan Menjivar by unanimous decision at UFC 165. The victory over Menjivar was his fifth straight victory and his winning streak would be snapped in February as he lost a split decision to Iuri Alcantara at UFC Fight Night 36.
