WSOF 13 adds Valiev vs. Chapman and Perez vs. Marcellino to main card broadcast on NBCSN

The next World Series of Fighting event will take place on September 13th in Pennsylvania and two new fights have been officially added to the main card as Timur Valiev meets Isaiah Chapman and Frankie Perez faces Tom Marcellino.WSOF 13

Both fight bookings were recently announced by the promotion.

World Series of Fighting 13 will come from the Sands Event Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and will be headlined by Marlon Moraes defending the bantamweight title for the first time against Josh Hill.

Valiev (7-1) has won seven fights in a row after losing his pro debut in 2010 and he won his World Series of Fighting debut in June against Adam Acquaviva. Four of his seven wins have come by stoppage and three of those wins are by TKO/KO. Chapman (6-1) will be making his World Series of Fighting debut in this bout and all of his professional bouts have come in the regional promotion, NAAFS. He has won back to back fights and both of those wins have come by decision.

Perez (8-1) trains out of Ricardo Almeida Jiu-Jitsu and he comes to the promotion from Ring of Combat. After going undefeated in his first eight fights, he was defeated in May by split decision against now UFC fighter Chris Wade. Marcellino (7-2) is returning to the promotion for the first time since March of last year, which was a knockout defeat to Brenson Hansen. Since that defeat, he has won three in a row and two of those wins have come by submission.
