Bellator 125 TV viewership over 700k for second straight week, down nearly 4 percent from Bellator 124

Bellator 125 took place on Friday night at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California and the card was headlined by Melvin Manhoef securing a title shot in the middleweight division with a knockout victory against Doug Marshall.  B125 WI

According to Nielsen sources, Bellator 125’s preliminary live viewership landed at 742,000 total viewers and this is down nearly 4 percent from Bellator 124’s preliminary viewership number of 771,000.

This is the second straight week that viewership for a Bellator card has been over 700,000 viewers in the preliminary ratings and this is only the second time in 2014 that the promotion has been able to achieve this.

In the Male 18-34 demo, the show drew a .38, which is the highest rating of the season and the previous high was a .36. The highest quarter hour viewership came in the final fiftteen minutes of the broadcast with 937,000 viewers. More ratings details on this fight card will be released later this week, including the +3 DVR numbers.

With the viewership from Friday night, the average for season eleven is now at 726,000 and this is 6 percent from the season ten main card average of 683,000. It should be noted that the first three shows of season ten earlier this year had an average of 744,000 with the highest being Bellator 110 with 880,000 viewers.
