A fight that was scheduled to take place earlier this year has been booked once again by the UFC as Bryan Barberena will make his UFC debut against Joe Ellenberger.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday.
UFC on FOX 13 will come from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona on December 13th and tickets for the event will go on sale October 10th.
Ellenberger (15-1) was scheduled to meet Barberena in June, but he ended up meeting James Moontasri at UFC Fight Night 44 when Barberena pulled out with an injury. He is currently on a three fight winning streak and twelve of his wins have come by stoppage.
Barberena (9-2) is currently on a six fight winning streak and five of those wins have come by TKO/KO or submission. He trains out of the MMA Lab in Arizona and he is coming off a first round victory over Eric Moon at a King of the Cage event in February.
