A rumored middleweight bout is now official for UFC Fight Night 58 in Brazil on December 20th as former UFC light heavyweight champion meets Ultimate Fighter alum C.B. Dollaway.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday afternoon and it’s likely the fight will headline the card.
UFC Fight Night 58 is expected to come from the Jose Correa Arena in Barueri, Sao Paulo, Brazil and the main card is expected to air on Fox Sports 1.
Machida (21-5) will enter this fight following a defeat to middleweight champion Chris Weidman and the defeat snapped a two fight winning streak. In all three of his middleweight fights in the UFC, Machida has won a fight night bonus including the fight of the night bonus with Weidman at UFC 175.
Dollaway (15-5) has won back to back fights and four of his last five. He is coming off a performance of the night bonus in May against Francis Carmont and he has won both of his fights to take place in Brazil.
