Joe Lauzon pulled out of his UFC 180 bout against Diego Sanchez due to an injury yesterday and now Sanchez has also pulled out of the November 15th fight card with an injury.
Sanchez’s withdrawal from the fight card was announced by the UFC on Thursday evening.
UFC 180 will come from the Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico on November 15th and will be headlined by Fabricio Werdum meeting Mark Hunt for the interim UFC heavyweight title.
According to the UFC statement on Sanchez’s withdrawal, the welterweight bout between Edgar Garcia and Hector Urbina will replace Lauzon-Sanchez on the main card broadcast on pay-per-view.
