Donald Cerrone vs. Myles Jury announced as co-main event of UFC 182

A rumored lightweight bout is now set as Donald Cerrone will meet Myles Jury in the co-main event of UFC 182 on January 3rd. MGM Grand

UFC President Dana White announced the fight booking on Wednesday.

UFC 182 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on January 3rd and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier.

Cerrone (25-6, 1NC) has won five fights in a row and four of those wins came by stoppage. His most recent victory came last month as he defeated former Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez by unanimous decision at UFC 178.

Jury (15-0) entered the UFC via The Ultimate Fighter and has gone 6-0 in the promotion. Three of those victories have come by stoppage, including a first round TKO win against Takanori Gomi at last month’s UFC Fight Night 52 in Japan.
