A lightweight bout has been booked for UFC 182 on January 3rd in Las Vegas as Rustam Khabilov will meet Danny Castillo.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on late Wednesday evening.
UFC 182 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on January 3rd and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier.
Khabilov (17-2) opened his UFC career with three straight victories and two of those wins came by TKO/KO. He would suffer his first defeat in the UFC in June as he was submitted by former UFC champion Benson Henderson.
Castillo (17-7) will also enter this fight following a defeat as he lost a split decision to Tony Ferguson at UFC 177 in August. He is 7-4 in the UFC and five of those victories have come by decision.
