The next Invicta FC event is now set as featherweight champion Cris “Cyborg” Justino will defend her title in the main event of Invicta FC 11 against Charmaine Tweet on February 27 in Los Angeles.
The event and complete fight card was officially announced today by the promotion.
Invicta FC 11: Cyborg vs. Tweet will come from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California and the event will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.
Justino (12-1, 1NC) was scheduled to defend her title in December, but an injury forced her off the card. Her last MMA fight took place in July of 2013 as she defeated Marloes Coenen to win the inaugural Invicta FC featherweight title. Tweet (6-4) has won back to back fights and five of her last six. Her most recent win came in September as she defeated Veronica Rothenhausier.
