The first UFC event of 2015 in Asia will take place on May 16th as UFC Fight Night will come from the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila.
The UFC is partnering with SM Lifestyle Entertainment Inc. to bring a UFC event to the capital city of the Philippines and Executive Vice President and General Manager, UFC Asia, Ken Berger stated that this will be a memorable event for the fans in Asia.
“We are thrilled to be kicking off our Asia event calendar in Manila this year,” Berger said. “The UFC has a loyal and passionate fan base in the Philippines and we’re looking forward to bringing the very best of mixed martial arts (MMA) to Manila for the first time. We have found a great event partner in SM Lifestyle Entertainment inc. and are excited that the SM Mall of Asia Arena will be home to a historic UFC event that fans will remember for years to come.”

This UFC Fight Night card on May 16th in Manila is expected to be available in North America on UFC Fight Pass, the digital streaming service of the promotion.
