Benson Henderson moves up to welterweight, meets Brandon Thatch in main event of UFC Fight Night 60

Former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson is moving up the welterweight division and he will make his 170 pound debut in two weeks as he will meet Brandon Thatch in the main event of UFC Fight Night 60.UFC Fight Night

The fight booking was announced by Ariel Helwani on the UFC 183 Post Fight Show on Fox Sports 1.

UFC Fight Night 60 will come from the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado on February 14 and the main card will air on Fox Sports 1.

Henderson (21-5) was scheduled to meet Jorge Masvidal in April at UFC Fight Night 63 and Masvidal will receive a new opponent. Henderson has lost back to back fights and his last defeat came two weeks ago against Donald Cerrone. Thatch (11-1) is currently on a ten fight winning streak and two of those wins have come in the UFC. Injuries have keep him on the sideline in 2014 as his last fight came in November of last year as he defeated Paulo Thiago at UFC Fight Night 32.
