Lightweight Josh Thomson has pulled out of his UFC Fight Night 62 bout against Gilbert Burns and replacing Thomson in the bout will be Alex Oliveira.
The fight change was announced by the UFC on Friday evening.
UFC Fight Night 62 will come from the Ginasio do Maracanazinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on March 21 and will be headlined by Demian Maia meeting Ryan LaFlare in a welterweight bout.
Burns was scheduled to meet Thomson in the co-main event of the card and with Thomson out of the event, the new co-main event will be the welterweight bout between Erick Silva vs. Ben Saunders. The new fight between Burns and Oliveira will be on the main card broadcast on Fox Sports 1.
