Matt Mitrione vs. Ben Rothwell among three new fights added to UFC Fight Night 68 in New Orleans

The UFC Fight Night 68 card on June 6 in New Orleans has three new fights with the fights being Matt Mitrione vs. Ben Rothwell, Tim Boetsch vs. Dan Henderson, and Joe Proctor vs. Justin Edwards.UFC Fight Night 68

The fight bookings were announced by the UFC on Friday.

UFC Fight Night 68 will come from the Smoothie King Center and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as former title challenger Daniel Cormier meets Ryan Bader.

Mitrione (9-3) has won three fights in a row and all three wins have come by TKO/KO. His most recent win came in December as he defeated Gabriel Gonzaga by TKO at UFC on FOX 13. Rothwell (34-9) is coming off a performance of the night victory at UFC Fight Night 50 against Alistair Overeem. The win over Overeem was his second straight win and he is 3-1 in his last four fights.

Boetsch (18-8) is 2-4 in his last six fights and is coming off a defeat to Thales Leites in January. His last two defeats have come by submission and won the fight of the night bonus against Leites. Henderson (30-13) has lost back to back fights and five of six. His most recent defeat came last month at UFC on FOX 14 against Gegard Mousasi.

Proctor (10-3) entered the UFC in 2012 during The Ultimate Fighter 15 and he has gone 3-2 in the promotion. His last fight came in December as he was submitted by Yancy Medeiros. Edwards (8-4) dropped down to the lightweight division last year and lost his 155 pound debut against Ramsey Nijem. Prior to the Nijem fight, he was defeated by Brandon Thatch in a welterweight bout in 2013.
