A welterweight bout has been added to the UFC 187 fight card on May 23 in Las Vegas as Sean Spencer will meet Mike Pyle on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Saturday.
UFC 187 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 23 and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Anthony Johnson.
Spencer (12-4) was defeated by Cathal Pendred at UFC Fight Night 59 in January in a controversial decision that nearly everyone felt he should have been awarded the victory. He is 3-2 in his last five fights and he has gone to the decision in all of those fights.
Pyle (26-10-1) will also enter this fight following a defeat as he lost to Jordan Mein by TKO in August of last year. He is 5-2 in his last seven fights and four of those wins have come by TKO/KO.
