The fight booking was announced on Wednesday evening by WSOF President Ray Sefo and this will be the second semifinal bout in the WSOF light heavyweight tournament to determine the inaugural WSOF 205 pound champion.

WSOF 20 will come from the Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut and tickets are currently on sale for the fight card.

Branch (15-3) won the inaugural WSOF middleweight title last year as he defeated Jesse Taylor in the final of the middleweight tournament. He made his first title defense in November as he defeated former UFC title challenger Yushin Okami by TKO. Markes (15-3) was initially scheduled to meet Thiago Silva at WSOF 19 in this tournament, but the promotion made changes to the field when Vinny Magalhaes was pulled from the tournament. This will be the second fight in WSOF for Markes as he defeated Cully Butterfield in his promotional debut.

The current WSOF 20: Branch vs. Markes fight card is below.

David Branch (15-3) vs. Ronny Markes (15-3)
Melvin Guilard (32-14-2) vs. Ozzy Dugulubgov (6-2)
