Bellator 136 will be headlined by a title fight as Will Brooks will defend the Bellator lightweight title against Dave Jansen and the third person in the cage will be John McCarthy.
California State Athletic Commission Executive Director Andy Foster confirmed to The MMA Report on Friday that he has assigned McCarthy to be the referee for the title fight.
In addition, Foster stated that out of competition drug testing has been taking place for this event.
Bellator 136 will come from the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California and the main card will begin at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Spike TV.
