Also, they recap last weekend’s Bellator 135 and WSOF 19. They discuss the ending of Marcos Galvao vs. Joe Warren, L.C. Davis and Hideo Tokoro having a tremendous fight, Justin Gaethje and Luis Palomino having a potential fight of the year, and Teddy Holder upsetting Thiago Silva.

Finally, they end the show by discussing Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 63 in Virginia and answering your questions that were submitted via social media.

  1. Bellator goes up against a ton of competition every Friday. Friday’s are the toughest day for ratings esp MMA.

    1. There is competition for the Male 18-49 demographic every night of the week. Moving to a different day of the week does not change that. This is a fact, not opinion.

        1. They were mailed out earlier in the week by the promotions company that we work with for the giveaway. You should have it shortly. If you do not get it by early next week, let me know and I can ask about it.

        2. Ok. You guys didn’t answer a couple of my ?’s last night. Couple of them you read Sam answered one then forgot to answer the other or something.

        4. Sam did you sign Neves and if so how many fights and for how many yrs was it?

          Also what do you think of the new Bellator? Do you think it has gotten better or is it worse than before?

          Sam do you think the WWE will have over 100k attendance for Wrestlemania in Dallas next yr and break Wrestlemania 3 attendance record 93, 173? What do you think of Triple H vs the Rock at Mania 32 with Stephanie in H’s corner and Rousey in the Rock’s corner?

          Do you think Bellator will ever be bigger than Strikeforce was and do you think they can ever truly compete against the UFC?

          Who are your picks for Aldo vs Mcgregor/ Jones vs AJ/ and for the WSOF lhw tourney?

          In terms of the other questions, I have given my take on new Bellator multiple times in various shows. On Bellator/Strikeforce, time will tell. My picks as of right now on those fights (they may change): McGregor, Jones, and Branch

  2. Actually Neves vs Parsons is rumored to be on the prelims of 137. On Tapology it shows it on the main card. Bellator website has Gonzales vs Millender on main card. I don’t agree with Neves vs Parsons being on the prelims. Instead Gonzales vs Millender should be on the prelims. What do you think?

    1. Gonzalez should be on the main card. 3-0 in Bellator and has been on main cards. No reason to demote him.

  3. One guy said this on the 138 card so far. “Awesome card. But only if it said UFC for the name instead of Bellator 🙁

    UFC have way better cards than Bellator. Idk why fans want UFC to own everything. UFC fans are so greedy and spoiled. Most of them talk so much shit all the time. They talk outta their asses. Their fans are the worst in combat sports or just sports period IMO.

  4. Do you expect Lashley to be on the tent pole or the Kansas card a week later? Btw Bellator vs Rampage will be in court 2morro not Friday. You said it was Friday April 3rd.

    1. Kansas more likely. I have always said Thursday, April 2nd. If I said the 3rd, that was a mistake.

      1. Rematch vs Thompson? I really hope not. I rather see Kongo vs Lashley. Hbu?

        4. He’s one of their biggest draws. So I have no problem with it being the main event. Bellator’s biggest draws IMO: Tito/ Kimbo/ Lashley/ Chandler

  5. Actually Bellator 138 tickets for event level are $214 bucks and that’s including taxes. When I said $200 bucks it was not including taxes. Pretty good prices wouldn’t you say?

    1. WSOF 20 tickets for ringside are about the same as 138. It’s insane how much WSOF prices their tickets. No wonder they aren’t making any money.

  6. Holy shit the WWE avg 5.4 million viewers for the Raw after Mania. That’s why I think that WWE isn’t UFC’s competition bc WWE has way more fans and is way more popular.

    1. Also they have 1.3 million subscribers for the WWE Network. It would’ve been 1.8 million, but 500k ppl canceled their subscription.
