A lightweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 71 main card as Ultimate Fighter alum Al Iaquinta will meet Bobby Green on the July 15 event in San Diego.
The fight booking was announced during the UFC 186 Post Fight Show on Fox Sports 1.
UFC Fight Night 71 will come from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California on July 15 and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as former UFC champion Frank Mir meets Todd Duffee.
Iaquinta (12-3-1) is currently on a four fight winning streak and is 7-1 since losing to Michael Chiesa at The Ultimate Fighter 15 Final. He is coming off a decision win against Jorge Masvidal earlier this month and this will be his third fight in 2015. Green (23-6) has won four of his five fights in the UFC and is coming off a decision defeat against Edson Barboza. Prior to the defeat to Barboza, he had won eight straight and four of those wins came by stoppage.
