The Ultimate Fighter 21 will begin on Wednesday and the live finale will take place in the South Florida area on July 12.
UFC President Dana White confirmed to the Sun Sentinel earlier this week that the fight card will come from either the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood or the BB&T Center in Sunrise.
While it has been reported that the main event of TUF 21 Finale will be a lightweight bout between former champion Benson Henderson and Michael Johnson, White did not confirm the fight booking with the South Florida newspaper. White did go on record and state the promotion is planning another trip to Orlando following last years UFC on FOX 11.
TUF 21 will premiere this Wednesday on Fox Sports 1 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT and will feature welterweight fighters from American Top Team and the Blackzilians. Both training teams are located in the South Florida area and the gyms are separated by ten miles. The teams will battle for a chance to win up to $500,000 and a coveted trophy to prove which team dominates South Florida.
