The MMA Report learned of the new fight booking on Tuesday afternoon following the news of the Karakhanyan injury by the Los Angeles Daily News and Bellator has now made the fight booking official.

Bellator 138 will come from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri on June 19 and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Kimbo Slice returns to MMA to meet Ken Shamrock.

Pitbull (23-2) is coming off a successful title defense in January as he defeated Daniel Straus by submission in the main event of Bellator 132. It was his seventh straight victory and his first submission since 2010 when he defeated Will Romero at Bellator 15. Weichel (35-8) won the season ten featherweight tournament last year with victories against Scott Cleve, Matt Bessette, and Desmond Green. He is coming off a decision victory against Pat Curran and he has won seven fights in a row.
