A bantamweight bout has been added to the UFC on FOX 16 fight card as Eddie Wineland will return to the cage to meet Bryan Caraway.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on late Thursday evening.
UFC on FOX 16 will come from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on July 25 and will be headlined a title rematch as T.J. Dillashaw defends the bantamweight title against former champion Renan Barao.
Wineland (21-10-1) lost to Johnny Eduardo at UFC Fight Night 40 by knockout last year and suffered a broken jaw in the fight. He is 1-2 in his last three fights and both of those defeats have come by TKO/KO. Caraway (19-7) will also enter this fight following a defeat as he lost to Raphael Assuncao at UFC Fight Night 54. He is 5-2 in his last seven fights and all of those wins have come by submission.
