A welterweight bout has been added to UFC on FOX 16 in Chicago as Kenny Robertson will meet Ben Saunders in a bout that is likely to be placed on the televised preliminary card.
The fight booking was confirmed to The MMA Report by the UFC on late Friday afternoon.
UFC on FOX 16 will come from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on July 25 and will be headlined a title rematch as T.J. Dillashaw defends the bantamweight title against former champion Renan Barao.
Robertson (15-3) has won three fights in a row and is coming off a performance of the night victory against Sultan Aliev. Three of his last four victories have come in the first round and has won a fight night bonus in two of those fights. Saunders (16-6-2) has won back to back fights since returning to the UFC. His most recent fight came in December as he defeated Joe Riggs by TKO.
