A.J. Matthews recently pulled out of his Bellator 137 bout against Ben Reiter due to an injury and replacing Matthews in the middleweight bout will be Benji Radach.
The new fight booking was announced by Bellator on Thursday.
Bellator 137 will come from the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California next Friday night and will be headlined by a title fight as Brandon Halsey defends the middleweight title against Kendall Grove.
Radach (21-6, 1NC) has been out of action since 2010 and he lost to Ovince St. Preux in his last fight. That fight took place in Strikeforce and he enters this fight with back to back fights. Reiter (15-0-1) made his Bellator debut last year and defeated Shamir Garcia by unanimous decision at Bellator 124. It was his second straight win by decision and six of his fifteen wins are by decision.
