Clifford Starks replaces Thiago Silva on Saturday’s WSOF 22 against Mike Kyle

Mike Kyle has a new opponent for Saturday’s WSOF 22 following Thiago Silva being unable to get a license with the Nevada Athletic Commission and Kyle will now meet Clifford Starks.

The new fight booking was announced by WSOF on Tuesday in a press release.

WSOF 22 will come from the AXIS inside the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Rousimar Palhares defending the welterweight title against Jake Shields.

Starks (11-2) is currently on a three fight winning streak and won his WSOF debut in March with a submission victory against Jake Heun. Prior to entering the WSOF earlier this year, he won back to back fights in Bellator, including a submission win against Kobe Ortiz. Kyle (21-12-1, 2NC) has gone 0-2 in the WSOF and the defeats came against Andrei Arlovski and Anthony Johnson. He is returning this fight following a submission win in March against Baga Agaev.
