A women’s featherweight bout has been booked for Bellator 141 next month as Marloes Coenen will meet Arlene Blencowe.
The fight booking was initially reported by Combat Press on Friday evening and a Bellator official confirmed the fight booking to MMA Fighting.
Bellator 141 will come from the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California on August 28 and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as Melvin Guillard makes his Bellator debut against Brandon Girtz.
Coenen (22-6) won her Bellator debut last year when she defeated Annalisa Bucci by submission at Bellator 130. She has won three of her last four fights and her last two wins have come by submission. Blencowe (6-4) also won her Bellator debut as she defeated Adrienna Jenkins by TKO at Bellator 137 in May. She has won four in a row and two of those wins have come by TKO in the first round.
