An undisclosed injury has forced Doo Ho Choi to pull out of his UFC Fight Night 71 bout against Sam Sicilia and replacing Choi in the bout will be Yaotzin Meza.
The new fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday.
UFC Fight Night 71 will come from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California on July 15 and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as former UFC champion Frank Mir meets Todd Duffee.
Meza (21-9, 1NC) returned to the featherweight division in April and defeated Damian Stasiak by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 64. It was his first victory since 2013 and he is 2-2, 1NC in the UFC. Sicilia (14-5) has alternated wins and losses in his last five fights. His last fight came in January as he defeated Akira Corassani by knockout.
