After having six fights in the UFC featherweight division, Nik Lentz is moving back to the lightweight division and will meet Danny Castillo at UFC on FOX 17.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday.
UFC on FOX 17 will come from the Amway Center on December 19 and will be headlined by a title fight as Rafael dos Anjos defends the lightweight title against Donald Cerrone.
Lentz (25-7-2, 1NC) went 4-2 in the featherweight division and this will be his first fight at lightweight since the beginning of 2012. He is 1-2 in his last three fights and is coming off a lost against Charles Oliveira in May. Castillo (17-9) has dropped three in a row and is 1-4 in his last five fights. His last win came last year at UFC 172 as he defeated Charlie Brenneman by knockout.
