A featherweight bout has been added to next month’s UFC Fight Night 76 in Dublin, Ireland as Darren Elkins will meet Robert Whiteford.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Monday morning.
UFC Fight Night 76 will come from The 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on October 24 and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as Dustin Poirier meets Joseph Duffy.
Elkins (18-5) is coming off a decision lost at UFC Fight Night 58 last year against Hacran Dias and he is 3-3 in his last six fights. His last four fights have gone to a decision and his last stoppage victory came in 2013 against Antonio Carvalho at UFC 158. Whiteford (12-2) has won back to back fights after losing his UFC debut in 2013 against Jimy Hettes. His most recent victory came in July as he defeated Paul Redmond at UFC Fight Night 72 by knockout.
