The previously scheduled welterweight title fight between champion Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit has a new date as they will meet in the main event of UFC 195 on January 2 in Las Vegas.
The fight booking was announced on late Thursday evening on FOX Sports 1.
UFC 195 is scheduled to come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena and ticket information will be released by the UFC in the coming weeks.
Initially, Lawler and Condit were scheduled to meet at UFC 193 in Australia. However, a thumb injury suffered by Lawler forced the fight to be delayed and the new main event of UFC 193 is Ronda Rousey defending the UFC women’s bantamweight title against Holly Holm.
