The UFC will be returning to the TD Garden in Boston next month for UFC Fight Night 81 and the opening bout of the televised preliminary card on FS1 will be a featherweight bout as Charles Rosa meets Jimy Hettes.
Rosa (10-2) made his UFC debut last year and has gone 1-2 in the promotion. He is coming off a split decision defeat in June against Yair Rodriguez at UFC 188 and both of his defeats in the promotion have come in fights that have taken place outside of the United States.
On this week’s edition of The MMA Report Podcast, Rosa was a guest on the show to preview his fight against Hettes on January 17. Along with previewing his upcoming fight, Rosa talked about how he got the nickname “Boston Strong” and discussed some of the charity work he has done recently.
