WSOF 26 Medical Suspensions: Lance Palmer facing a potential six month suspension

The medical suspensions for WSOF 26 have been released by the Nevada Athletic Commission and Lance Palmer is one of four fighters facing a potential six month suspension. New WSOF logo

The commission released the medical suspensions on Tuesday and the suspensions were forwarded to TheMMAReport.com after they were requested.

WSOF 26 took place this past Friday at the Chelsea inside Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and was headlined by Alexandre Almeida winning the featherweight title with a decision win against Palmer.

The complete WSOF 26 medical suspensions are below:

  • Alexandre Almeida: Suspend until 02/18/16 and no contact until 02/03/16
  • Lance Palmer: Needs left thumb x-rayed, if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 07/19/16.
  • Nic Herron-Webb: Suspended until 02/18/16 and no contact until 02/03/16 (left eyebrow laceration).
  • Robbie Peralta: Must have broken right foot cleared by Dr or no contest until 07/19/16; minimum suspension no contest until 02/18/16, no contact until 02/03/16.
  • Johnny Nunez: Needs left thumb x-rayed, if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 07/19/16.
  • Marat Magomedov: Suspended until 02/03/16 and no contact until 01/19/16.
  • Gil Guardado: Must have right wrist x-rayed, if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 07/19/16.
  • Giga Chikadze: Suspended until 02/18/16 and no contact until 02/03/16 (two deep lacerations above right eyebrow).
