Bellator 148 took place on Friday night at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California and the event was headlined by Paul Daley scoring a knockout victory against Andy Uhrich in the first round.
Along with the knockout victory by Daley in the main event of the fight card, the main card on Spike TV saw stoppage victories by Paul Bradley, Patricky “Pitbull” Freire and Tony Johnson.

- Bellator 148 was the 14th Bellator fight for Pitbull and he is tied with Hawn and Daniel Straus for the 2nd most fights in Bellator history.
- The victory moves Pitbull in a tie with former Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez for the 3rd most wins in Bellator lightweight division history.
- Johnson won his third straight fight with a TKO victory in the third round against Raphael Butler and two of his last three wins have come by TKO.
- On the preliminary card, Te Edwards defeated Nick Bustamante by knockout in 43 seconds and he is now tied with Saad Awad for the 6th fastest victory in Bellator lightweight division history.
