Dominick Cruz: I want to take a fight the fans want to see

Dominick Cruz regained the UFC bantamweight title this past Sunday night at UFC Fight Night 81 in Boston as he scored a split decision win against T.J. Dillashaw and the debate has already started on who should be next for him.

Does Cruz want his next fight to be a rematch against Dillashaw or a trilogy bout with Urijah Faber? Cruz gave his answer to this question on Wednesday night’s edition of “UFC Tonight” on FS1 and stated he wants to take a fight the fans want to see.

“I want to take a fight the fans want to see. It was the best me that night,” Cruz said. “But it wasn’t my best. There are a lot of pieces of my game that need more rounds to build the flow, to get my body working. I’ll take anyone in the division. Who’s going to say what they’re going to do? Just talk. I felt bad for TJ that he wouldn’t talk. That’s what people want. Just talk. You know who talks? Stupid Faber, he will talk. He’s got an excuse for everything he’s lost in his life.”
