Ratings Report: UFC on FOX 18 draws 2.43 million viewers in overnight ratings

UFC on FOX 18 took place last night at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and was headlined by Anthony Johnson scoring his 15th career win by TKO/KO as he stopped Ryan Bader in the first round.

According to Nielson sources, the card drew 2.43 million viewers and a .8 in the Adult 18-49 demographic in the overnight ratings. The overnight viewership for UFC on FOX 18 is up over 6 percent from last months UFC on FOX 17 (2.28 million), but is down nearly 14 percent from the overnight number for last January’s UFC on FOX 14 (2.82 million).

When it came to the competition last night, the UFC card went up against Dateline Mystery on NBC (4.75 million), NBA on ABC (3.17 million), 48 Hours (2.83 million) and Criminal Minds (2.86 million) on CBS. It should be noted that the updated viewership for last night’s programming on network television will be released in the coming days, including what the televised preliminary card drew on FS1.
