Bobby Flynn vs. Kevin Horowitz added to CES MMA 33

A welterweight bout has been added to the preliminary card of CES MMA 33 on March 11 as Bobby Flynn will make his promotional debut against Kevin Horowitz.

The fight booking was announced by CES MMA officials today.

CES MMA 33 will come from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island and will be headlined by a title fight as Andre Soukhamthath and Kody Nordby will battle for the inaugural CES MMA bantamweight title.

Flynn (5-3) is coming off a submission win at Cage Titans 25 in August against Louis Torres and the victory snapped a two fight losing streak. Four of his five wins have come by submission and six of his eight fights have ended in the first round.

“I’ve wanted to fight for CES for quite a while,” said Flynn. “A lot of fighters from the organization have gotten a lot of attention soon. With an impressive performance, hopefully people start talking about me a bit more too.”

Horowitz (6-5, 1NC) will also enter this fight following a victory as he defeated Tyler Rose in June at Reality Fighting. He has won three of his last four fights and all of those wins have come by decision.

“We have been working on getting Kevin back in the CES cage for a year now,” CES match maker Pat Sullivan said in the announcement of the fight. “His 3-1 record here is one of the best in the CES welterweight division and he is someone who always entertains the fans. We are very excited to showcase his veteran cage presence against the always-exciting Bobby Flynn. This has the potential for FOTN.”
