A featherweight bout that was reported earlier this week is now official for Bellator 151 as Goiti Yamauchi will meet Bubba Jenkins on the March 4th card coming from the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
Bellator officials announced the fight booking in a press release on Friday.
Bellator 151 will be headlined by a bantamweight bout as former Bellator champion Joe Warren returns from suspension to meet rising prospect Darrion Caldwell.
Yamauchi (19-2) has won three in a row and is coming off a submission win against Isao Kobayashi at Bellator 144. Since entering Bellator in 2013, he has won five of his six fights in the promotion and three of the victories have come by submission. Jenkins (10-2) is coming off a win against Jordan Parsons at Bellator 146 by split decision. He has won six of his last seven fights and three of those wins have come by stoppage.
